Great article. You can’t go wrong with WordPress by far the best system for any website IMO. I even make my custom facebook pages/apps with wordpress!

Lately, I’ve been using WordPress to set up a members-only area for a client. We’ve set up pages where they can post documents, forms, contact information, etc., which only logged-in members can acess. I use plugins to manage the widgets which appear on each page, allowing me to easily set up context-friendly sub-menus for complex pages.

I like that WP manages the log-in information and users can easily reset their passwords anytime. And we have the option to allow comments, so that discussions around the content can take place right on the page. This is a small group and it might not be as manageable as it grows, but for now, it’s a quick, easy way to offer the benefits of an intranet, right on their own website.

Gorgeous effects, but I have to admit, I don’t speak Photoshop. What does HDR stand for? What is a Gaussian Bluer? Where can I go to learn to speak this language?

Glad I have friends and coworkers who can do design stuff while I correct their spelling and grammar. Hmm, I think your job may be more fun than mine…
